It would be very , very nice to have a group of people around that I , as a retired person , could have coffee and talk knives with , but that is not going to happen . It was very nice to spend some time with @Amir Fleschwund last Friday but that is not even a monthly thing . I do have 2 friends that I like to call and talk with , but they both live a long ways away . Going to the Rendezvous was a great time and we will be going again this year , so I guess that just like @mrknife , that is the closest thing to a Club that I have . You are lucky to have onewaynorth .

I know of that club and just went to the Knife Show in Janesville but I am not one to drive 45 miles to a big city for any kind of meeting . But thank you for the information my friend . Do you live in or near Wi. ????Your profile shows you're in WI. There is a Badger Knife club that meets about once a month in Milwaukee and has a yearly show in I believe Janesville.
Thanks Rusty, and everyone who has commented. I feel lucky to have a great group nearby, and firmly invite you all to attend our monthly meetings!!![]()

I am not an expert on knife shows and I have only been going for the last 3 years , but I have enjoyed it every time .I live MO, but my in-laws are in Milwaukee. We get there about once a year. I've toyed with the idea of making an in-law/Janesville show weekend, but it hasn't come about yet. We have a cousin in Janesville that works at the candy factory we could see as well. Is it a good show? Usually a good show means an active club, it may be worth the drive in better weather.
I'd take you up on that and I don't think I'm all that far away. Unfortunately with my limited knowledge all I could offer is to drool all over whatever you and the others brought...
rje58, I'm not far from Winston. Sorry I did not hear about the show.
