Here’s a new one,… 17-½ inches OAL, 1065 blade with a bronze guard, reticulated sterling silver ferrule, sterling silver fittings and butt cap, AZ mesquite wood handle core, with woven cotton cord wrappings sealed with natural orange flake shellac.

Beautiful work.....I really like
the combination of influences..

So much detail to admire, striking overall.

(Tai, are those seperate Turk's heads, or one tall TH wrap?)

Thanks!

Aaron, those were the best pix I could get with my camera. I guess they'll have to do.

John, they are individual knots, alternating 1 mm black and 2 mm brown cord. It worked nice with the silver and bronze.

That's OK Tai. I just wanted a new background for my office computer. :D

What's the mesquite like? Is it a tough wood to shape? I don't think I've ever heard of it used for handles.

Aaron, the mesquite is kind of like walnut, but a bit denser. It has a nice color and grain, similar to ironwood, but not as hard and dense as ironwood.

Simply fantastic I love clip point bowies and this one is very unique and stands out in the bowie crowd.

That knife is right up their amongst my all time favorites. It is a beauty.

I don't disagree with Keith's taste in fixed blades very often,

but,

I TOTALLY have to agree with him on this Goo Bowie! It is a beauty and a new favorite of mine. That last image angle is so intriguing...I would love to see everything that is happening on that blade in person. Grind, bevels, swedge, taper...makes a very strong point!

Outstanding!

major BMG going on here. I just have nothing else to say, I'll let the rest of you gush for me:)

I like everything about this knife a lot. F&F look superb.
