I was also wondering, did you leave the handle on while grinding, or did you take them off and re-attach?
Everything was left whole and ground together.

Great job and thank you for the pics. You have turned an already great knife, into the perfect custom knife made by and for you. It is a matter of having that perfect feel in your hand. I understand. great job getting it done with what you had and getting it done yourself.
Great work! Always good to see folks willing to make a blade their own.
That is very nice full height grind work on the RMD.
What is the edge thickness at the top of the edge bevel?
Was that done on the WK or HF?
I have done edge thinning/reprofiling/convexing on the HF, but find it hard to do full height regrinds due to the belt curvature. I can't grind against the platen on mine, as it chatters horribly. I was thinking of buying a user RMD and sending it off for a regrind to get a thinner edge.
So you worked just above the platen, in the 'slack' belt zone?
Debating if I should try it myself, or send it off to RazorEdge.
Just go slow and steady and it isn't hard to do yourself... cost effective too.The hardest part of facing our fears is to stop over-thinking and just start doing. If you are really worried about it you can always do it by hand, but it looks like you have it pretty well figured out already.
