I went to a place called a Cleland Wildlife Park while I was down there in Oct. 2014. They had numerous kangaroos in there, and they were socialized to people enough you could pet them, and they sold bags of food you could give them. Hell, me and another guy actually got close to a mom with a joey in her pouch. But she was small, very small. Not much bigger than a wallaby. But in one area, there were the big 'roos. The reds, and one or two Western Grays(?). There was one that was a total sweetheart. I fed her a lot. But I respected her space. She was friendly, but had, IMO, some pretty damn vicious claws on her forepaws, which looked very much like hands. But there was this one male red in there that I kept my eye on the entire time. Would not turn my back on him. The dude was build like f-in' Arnold Swarzenegger. From 50 yards away, prominent pectoral muscles. And looked like he could push 6" tall. Nope, wouldn't want to tangle with him. Although I'd wade in as fast as that dude did if he had my dog like that one did.
