A man's love for his dog...

I had to google "Drop Bears" after the second mention, for the others on here who weren't familiar with the species it's an Australian Chupacabra

Apparently the guy who took on the roo is now being investigated by his workplace. He works for a zoo or wildlife park and they don't like the outcry from the sheeple. Poor bloke was out there to take a dying mate on a hunting trip.

I figured it was an Australian Institute of Sport boxing team training video.

Really!? He didn't kill the Roo, he just saved his dog... no one is up in arms about the Roo almost killing the dog??? Jeez... Do people think that the Roo is off somewhere feeling depressed and is in need of therapy? What the hell is wrong with people... as a dog lover I applaud the guy.

Weak people that's the problem today 🤔

Well, we have our own drop bears, but they are real :D

So true. Most people wouldn't even dare to DREAM of defending their own lives, let alone their pet.

There's no point! If that big ass paw even tapped a person it'll break bones nevermind those 5" hook claws. How big was that sucker?

Well not against that thing, lol unless you've got a death wish. No I was referring to people vs. people

How tall was this thing, Cobalt? Must've weighed a ton.

For some reason that claw paw reminds me of that white thing in the ice cave on "The Empire Strikes Back" that attacked Luke and hung him upside down in the ice, lol. Except even that thing was probably a dwarf compared to this.

Man... that is wild--the paw alone is the stuff of nightmares. That bear must be tremendous. And agreed guys... weakness of mind, body, and spirit. It the worst I've seen ever...

Not sure the weight I would say at least 3/4 ton, but it took five 338 magnum rounds to kill it.

Mother of God... Cobalt, what the hell kind of bear is that... mutant grizzly, or just your average kind?

That is an inland Grizzly(very long claws typical inland southern Grizzly) which is actually smaller than the coastal versions and certainly smaller than Kodiak islands monsters.

Damn man... still a monster, even is not the biggest. Is that you on the hunt? Cool pics Cobalt--thanks for the info.

Now Andy... are you single-handedly trying to give the Australian Ministry of Tourism a heart attack? With you spreading the cheer, no one is going to visit!
