This knife was an experiment in layering woods. This knife is just like my other master hunters except it has a flat chisel grind instead of a flat grind. My intention was to make a knife for hard use in the outdoors but still wickedly sharp, I believe its a success. This knife is the sharpest knives I have ever made hands down. The blade is cpm154cm with a Paul Bos HT to Rc60, I would recommend Paul to anyone, great service. The Blades OAL is 8 1/2" , and the handle is "yellow heart" laminated onto "purple heart" which has a nice mix of color. this knife will include a kydex sheath/w teklok built to the customers specs.

Price: $115 shipped in the US, paypal included in price. I also accept MO's and personal checks.

Great work, that is a beautiful handle you put on that knife.

The sheath looks great as well

Someone is gonna get a great knife.

*sigh* I can't resist. Second knife today. (Payday's suck for this kinda thing). Amazing knife, and the excellent sheath sold me. I'll take it. Paypal details? How much to include the kydex sheath along with the leather one?

Paypal for the $115 sent. Please let me know (email, pm, post) how much the kydex sheath is. :)

This one is sold. I sent you an email josh.

Thanks for looking everyone, -Josiah

Just got the knife yesterday, but I had a killer headache so I didn't do a write up. :barf: I'll get some pics in on this later today.

Opening up:
I bought an additional kydex sheath for the knife, and it came shipped in that. The knife came lightly oiled, which looked okay. The chisel grind is, I think, convex, but I'm not sure. The handle is excellent. Fitted very well into the kydex, and the same into the leather. The leather had a fresh sort of smell to it, which I liked, but others may not.

The knife has (as pictured, to be pictured) a really gripping finger choil set right behind the blade. It gives an excellent sense of control over the blade, and really sets it into your hand.

The handle is smooth, no burrs or rough spots. No visible separation of the two woods. Pins are flush. The handle isn't too thick, which I like, and the balance was excellent.

If I had to change something about the knife, I'd put a normal v grind on it. I've never had a chisel ground knife, but it should be interesting. I feel it tends to "pull" one way when making slicing vertical cuts. Also, a little jimping on the spine of the knife couldn't hurt, even though your hand is really locked in by the choil.

Excellent knife Josiah! Thanks.
