Great story as usual Jacknife. I read this earlier today, and found myself pondering just how different a similar scenario would play out in today's world. I think it would end in a much more tragic way. Pretty sad commentary when you think about it. Today's thug wouldn't react the same way.

Ahhhh Mongo you very well may be right. Sad to be sure. I hope that you are not though. I have three very young daughters, and I am raising them as my Father/Mother raised me. I keep hope for such young ones.

I would like to think my kids would (not be there to begin with) but would act much that same. Time will tell however...... all we can do is our best.
