All of these are the real items! They are NOT cheap imitations, or knock-offs. The spyderco's are their Byrd line. The A.G. Russell and the Ka-Bar are made in Taiwan. the Spyderco Byrd's and the CRKT are made in China. All of these are all very well made knives.
