A moment of silence (found!)

I have been looking forward to repatriating an old school runt (GITD!) and a 3 finger Joe.
After a month of waiting, I was just informed that the knives never left Australia's postal service and the packages were gone.

Both, being one of a kind, I'm actually really sad they are out of circulation.
Please join me in a moment of silence, they were dearly loved.

I don't think for a second they are lost.
My guess is the postal screener saw those profiles in an X-ray and began his own collection.
If you see them for sale, please contact Interpol or me.

And a testament to the Fiddle community, the seller refunded me before even he was compensated.
Thank you Crano, you are a real class act. Thank you for your effort.

That is sad! I hope they find and hang out with my Palmer in the afterknife!

Sorry Brotha!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear that my friend, but Crano is a great guy for sure! I have a beauty coming from him and I hope it makes it over the pond, now I am nervous lol....if it doesnt I hope they are all together keeping each other company along with Willic's Palmer

OOOOOOHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOO!!!! That stinks! Sorry to hear that. May they rest cutting things up to pieces in the afterknife.

Sorry, man. That is terrible news.

However the term afterknife is now part of my lexicon.

It a terrible thing to find out they went 'that way'. I'm sure both lived a good life, but it was still too soon.

So sorry for your loss.

That does suck. I worry every time I mail off something expensive to another country. I sold a knife to a member in Johannesburg SA, and I sweated it the whole time in was in transit.

Very sad! Don't want to get your hopes up but a customer of ours in Singapore just received a knife we shipped him in October of 2014! According to USPS it was found in a sort facility in the folded corner of a transfer cart. Customer about fainted when it showed up. Said the box was in pristine condition! You just never know!

Man, that sucks. Will keep some fingers crossed that they might be found under a sorting cart or something. It has happened before.

In my experience Australia Post contractors don't always scan items. It could be that this one is bouncing around and will eventually find its way to you or the sender.

My brother left Alaska and ALL of his luggage got 'lost'. Just never made it out of the airport. Well that was in September and snow had started, the following June they contacted him and said they found his bag. It had rolled off the trolley and down into a ditch and got covered in snow and froze. It showed up and looked like death. It was all his personal identification he needed to guide up there and for the coast guard. Oh and about 5k in fly fishing equipment.

Man, thats crappy. I'm very sorry to hear it. Thieves make me very upset.
