I took an order for a couple of slip joints, so I made this one as practice. It's much more of a traditional pattern than the long skinny bladed affair I posted earlier this week. 154 CM and natural canvas Micarta with brass liners and pens, and bronze washers. 3.5 closed, 6.5 open. Smooth cam action with good walk and talk. Not perfect, but a solid handmade knife.

Not perfect? Must not be far off! That really looks excellent to me. What is that, a 2.75" blade or so? What's the steel? That's something I think any fan of a quality knife would be proud to own.

Blade is 2.5. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, and my own worst critic. Steel is 154 CM. 60 RC on the blade, with cryo, 48 on the spring, all my work.

Very well!! That slippy looks like the promise you'll become very good at it in very short time!!

Has a very nice look to it and the handle shaping looks spot on to me. Appears as though it'd be a good daily carry.

Good work!
