a morning amongst the redwoods...

Looks like you had a nice time with the kids, and took some great photos. I`m glad you are still liking the Hiker`s Backup, I started another batch yesterday, along with a new one, a mini bushcraft.

John

thanks once again for all the comments folks... much appreciated..

john-- i like the sounds of this mini-bushcraft knife.. you got any pics for us yet...:D the hikers knife has been seeing quite a lot of use, over the past weekend and few days... i would still like to get one of those pocket sheaths from you...

i'm really looking forward to getting my breeden knife, it'll also be in brown micarta like these 2 knives...

WOW awesome pics I hope some day to make it out there to see those big trees.
Thanks for the pics Mike,

Bryan

Great stuff Mike. Bet the kids loved it.

By the way, that was a great photo of Poison Oak for someone who doesn't get to see it too often...

Nice work Mike. When I was in HS., I was a counselor for a week at the Science Camp over at La Honda. Great place to teach kids. I also spent a lot of time at Butano St. Park and up and down Hwy 1 from Moss Landing to Pacifica surf fishing.

I still live around forests up here in WA., but man do I miss those redwoods and the CA. coastline.

i always have my BM mini griptillian anyhow... i hate sharpening my pencils with a sharpener, i like to put more of a convex point on them with a knife... the kids got a kick out of that...
Proof that all kids start out as knifeknuts, until they are turned into sheeple by their parents and society. I have never seen a kid that was afraid of knives or didn't want one.
Sorry for going off topic, just a little rant Iv been wanting to get off my chest, waiting for my Bravo is making me all crabby plus I got them damn exams coming up. Sigh* it's gonna be a looong two weeks. Great pics BTW.

3wolves.... i would have to agree with you.. i do think that most kids start out as knifenuts....these are all mountain kids, who love the outdoors... knives are nothing out of the ordinary for them...
