A multitool with no blade?

Mahoney,
I've thought about a similar regrind. That's probably the easiest answer.

gadgetheek,
I'll take a look at Sog's multitools. I hadn't considered them since some of their knives have gotten to be pretty kooky. I really liked the one I had on the 90's.

MichaelM466,
If it was discontinued, I must be in the minority? I do prefer Leatherman over the other brands, though.

The knifeless fuse was supposed to be TSA or airport security compliant, and then it was decided it wasn't, there went the market.
But you are right, there wasn't much demand to begin with.

My bladeless Victorinox Spirit. Marlin spike instead of butter blade.

greetings, Samek

Well, I think looks pretty good. Guess that's the answer for me. Since the "Knife Snob" multitool doesn't seem to a winning proposition.

Am I the only person in the world that wants a multitool with no knife blade?
I ALWAYS already have a knife/knives on me.

I have a few Gerber MP600 multitools of various configurations, but most recently bought a bladeless MP600 version.

The typical MP600 knife blades don't impress me, chiefly due to their location. Omitting the blade leaves room for a different tool in the MP600 handle. I carry a separate, more capable knife when carrying the bladeless MP600. This bladeless version provides a scissors, 3 flat screwdriver blades, a Philips, file, Remgrit saw, and a can opener. Other MP600 versions which include a knife blade omit one of the other tools.

As background, I have enjoyed using many Leatherman, SOG, Victorinox, and Bear Jaws multitools over the years. More recently, I've given Gerber a chance to redeem itself after a nasty palm pinching incident several years ago when using an early model Gerber MultiPliers.
