Sometimes we overlook what is right in front of us, like the mountain laurel that grows outside my back door. a very dense wood, crooked and with a lot of character. I had some stabilized by G and K and kind of forgot about it a drawer until I discovered it today and fit it to a small drop point blade. It came out looking a little like bone.
