A new bladesmith on the loose in my shop?!?!?!?

Very cool Nick that she's willing to step outside her comfort zone to show some interest in what you do. That being said, I'm very glad that my wife tends to stay out of my shop... safer for everyone really. ;) :p

I know how you feel. I'm really blessed with my wife, too. She's put up with a lot so I can make knives. Congratulations, after collecting all of the excellent equipment in your shop, and building your skills and your name, you have acquired the greatest asset of all: a beautiful, supportive lady. You've got it made now.

Are you excited to move into your new house and shop? When?

If it turns out she's hooked and wants to play in the shop some more, Black Stallion makes some nice welding gloves in extra small...

I'm glad most everybody understood the nature of my post---- Not a "hey look at my girlfriend" post.... Rather a "hey, look... I found a woman that's so incredibly supportive of this that she was willing to go completely out of her comfort zone and see what exactly it means to do this stuff".... And she even had fun in the process! :)

I am retardedly lucky. ;) :D :)

Oops--- Salem, I am both excited and scared!!! LOL It looks like I'll be renting two forklifts and two trailers (none of my friends' car hauling trailers can handle a 6,000# capacity, all terrain forklift ;) )..... I had to shoe horn all of my tools into my little shop- It's going to be one hell of a job to get them all back out!!! Fortunately me and the tools will have some room to breathe in a shop that's 4 times the square footage of the current set up! :)

She's a keeper, Nick. :thumbup:You don't marry that woman, I'm gonna whop you with a knotted plowline, Boy!(Josey Wales reference)
:D

That is awesome man.

She seems to be a keeper. Remember, there is no miss perfect, only miss right. Why have you not made it official yet?

Good luck with the move.
