I'm not a steel snob, and I know what feels right.
I carry a big wad of keys (three vehicles, two homes, warehouse) down in my right front pocket (almost exclusively Wrangler Jeans) with a Kershaw Ken Onion #1640 Vapor clipped at the back. The Vapor frame locks, flicks open easily, and is quite sharp as it comes. I haven't used the crap out of mine, and hasen't needed (although I do sometimes crock stick it) sharpening.
Most other of my owned knives make it hard to get the keys in and out. In the back right is my wallet. Sometimes another knife (often CRKT M16-03Z) rides to the outside of wallet.
Of the BM stuff I've handled the 940 series sounds most like what you are after. I like my 350 fine, except for the BT coating (pure crap are black blades!).
Oh, the very neatest thing about the Vapor (and Vapor II) is they cost so very little!!!
Joe Shmoe = CHEAP!!!! But not Stupid!
