Aggie and I just got our new 4 Season tent yesterday. It appears to be the best made tent I have ever seen. It is the Hilleberg Nallo 4 tent. Besides the quality and great features it is not made in Taiwan or China. I will do a complete report on this tent after the winter camping trip in January, 08 trip. Their web-site is http://www.Hilleberg.com/

The cost may seem like a lot but when you consider that we spend between 90 & 120 days a year in a tent or under a tarp it isn't really that much. We have been buying a new tent almost every year. With this one I believe it will last. You get what you pay for.

Very nice. I don't have first hand knowledge of them, but I have heard that Hillebergs are top notch. Enjoy!

That thing looks awesome! Out of my range. But dang. What a nice bit of kit.

Well, dang, if you are spending that much time out there, then $600 is just a drop in the hat. Right now, I'm lucky to spend a combined 3 weeks in a tent all year, and this year I haven't had a chance for even one night:(

Looking forward to seeing this one in person Marty. January isn't too far away and before you know it, we'll be on the winter camping trip. I'm sure it will be a nice home away from home for you, Aggie, Nelly and Shadow.

Nammatj GT. You have just purchased a fantastic tent and have spent your $$ wisely. You cannot get a better tent. Get a "footprint", store it in a dry place and it'll last 20 yrs+. I love mine.

Pete,
We did get the footprint with it. Since we got that Nallo4 I have been doing a little research and it seems that every major expedition around the world seems to use Hillenerg tents. I guess that says a lot for them.

Great buy bro,

I used to read up on tents and outdoor clothing etc as much as I now do with knives and the Hilleberg tents always used to get top marks, they will stand up to anything the weather can throw at them !!!

I used to spend my nights in a Hilleberg Keron 4GT when I was in the military service. Some selected swedish units use them. They are about as good as a tent gets, they are lightweight and durable. Any weather conditions, Hilleberg is just outstanding.
