A new knife from Mike Snody.

I handled this knife at the show this weekend and was impressed. Felt great and boy does Mike put an edge on his blades. I was wondering how I would like a chisel grind on my Overlord after getting my wife's La Griffe and it being very dull. Well Mikes edge's were the sharpest of any knives I handled at the show! Glad mine was one of them :D and I missed out on this knife by minutes due to my slow decision making and big selection but feedback was great on this one and it does cut very aggressively. It easily shaved hair size slices of paper!
 
Keith, Keep up the suggestions. This knife was a beauty. It was great to see all of Mike's knives at the show. I can't wait to see what he comes up with next. Mike is a knifemaking genius and Michelle is cooler than I want to express. I don't want Mike Snody on my ass. They are both really great. Michelle is very personable, a knockout and if I bored her, she hid it well. Mike keep them coming buddy, you have an edge that the knife world needs. Thank you both for your hospitality at the show.

if you received a nice friendly email that would be Mrs. Michelle.. Mike is always grumpy.. I mean have you met him in person ;) (ie. 'da look' if his face was on the flag it woudl scare off all the would be terrorists. :) ).. as always EXCELLENT stuff Mr. Mike.. I was SUULKING the whoel weekend when I didnt get to go to NC this year :(

damn east coast.. can't wait to test out the sarpfusion >_< :)
 
It looks like Mike has come up with a name for this new style. It is called the Negotiator.

A folder that Mike and Brad Duncan are collaborating on will also be called the Negotiator. It will have the same blade profile and Brads fantastic Ball Bearing pivot.
 
I sent Mike an e-mail this morning and already received an answer. I like service like this. A lot! I guess the old adage is true, good things come to those who (can) wait...

Asked Mike to drop me a note when he starts accepting work again. After having blown a small fortune on my hobbies this year, a layaway plan for a knive I have to wait for for quite some time sounds like an excellent idea.

As we say here in Switzerland, the difference between a boy and a man is not the number of toys, but rather what they cost...

Michelle mentioned you at the show, but I did not know you were in good enough with them to be able to say something like that about Mike. And we thought 'da look' and it is UGLY, was due to lack of sleep! ;) Looking forward to meeting you at a future show.

James, info@snodyknives.com should work. It has worked for me, it is on their website and it is what is on their business cards that I picked up at the show. I'm relunctant to post another email address since info is the one they use publically. Maybe you should try sending another email through or send it from their website.
