nope i only pointed out that your one knife does it all theory would be boring. dont have anything against strider or sebenza, wish i had a dozen of each. fads are imo when larger groups of people tend to go for a certain style. so yes fads drive marketing. as can be seen as an example in the large numbers of ti frame locks. another would be multiple color offerings in knives or even sprint runs are a type of fad. yea i would think that all that boosts sales more than it drives innovation. examples would be the basic designs dont seem to change.
