A new one. Amazing!!!!!!!!

At the Las Vegas show I picked up several new ones. One is by Phil Boguszewski. It has no thumb stud, it has a flipper. The action on this knife is so smooth it is amazing. I went to his table and flipped it a few times and kept shopping. After going back a few more times to fondle it I decided I had to take it home.

A very sharp 3 3/4 Blade of BG42. Every time I flip it open I can not help but think that a liner lock can not open this smooth and have a great lock up every time, but it does. If you get a chance to handle one you will see what I mean. This will be a true joy to use.

Great looking knife Bo. Thanks for posting it. Good to see some of Phil's work here.

That is the single best example I have yet seen of a flipper being integrated into a design. Almost disappears when the blade is open. Very cool

Phil is a very talented knifemaker who doesnt get much press......mostly cause he is so quiet and subdued......He has been making superlative knives for a very long time!

Love the blade grind...looks almost exactly like my LDC-107 by Broadwell, my fav daily carry.

Bo, that is gorgeous! I've been saving for my first custom, and now I've got another great maker to look into -- thanks.

Jehster,
If you get a chance to handle one you will instantly be convinced of the workmanship that is involved.

That really is a great looking knife. I am glad that you found a knife you like so much. Use it and enjoy it.

Keith.

Bo Knows !

It is a very nice knife, Bo sent it off to me for a fit up and I'm very impressed with the action of this folder, the flipper doesn't have to be hit very hard at all to open the knife, I've always admired Phil's work but this is the first one I've handled and the grind is very good and the edge is not too thin and not too thick, just right...

Bo,
That knife looks like a Ken Onion Boa with flipper.

I am not sure of the answer...but Kit has been making them for longer than anyone else that I know of.
