It's been another trying month. That kicks me into nerve mode. I can't sleep so I make something. I just finished the D2 hatchet so, Inspired by another member in the Ax forum, I decided to try a new form of pack/hunting hatchet.

It's 14"loa and has a 3.750 cutting edge. It is made from 1/2" thick plow steel.

A friend who is a bigger tinkerer than I and also owns a rubber supply house, claims to have some liquid rubber that will absorb vibration when molded into something (like a hole)..we'll see! That's what the 1/4" holes are for.
