.200 thick W2 riding on washers. Heavy contoured frame with Mokuti accents and clip.

With my beater Bamboo from Burch:

Thanks for having a look.

And here's a brief and crappy video I made of her:

Did he get permission to use the Spyderhole? Neat looking knife otherwise.

Absolutely. He also has a production collaboration with Spyderco so he is very close with the company.

Good deal.

I see his books are closed, so I'll have to appreciate this vicariously from your pics.

More "nightmare grind" than tanto, isn't it?

Like the choil on top so you can choke up for delicate work. :D

I see that, when we designed the knife it was based off of Michael's Tanto model so it kind of morphed from there.

Wait. we designed the knife, or he designed the knife?

well when Michael makes a custom knife it is truly custom...anything the customer wants. So i did some shitty drawings and had a buddy make a CAD mock up of what I wanted and Michael took that design and turned it into his own vision. It is truly cool to have so much input on a design. Burch deserves all the credit, my input was really very general and conceptual, he did all the hard work.

I got it! Thanks!

Anyway....congrats and enjoy!

I mean, I guess it's pretty nice... if you like high quality folders with great design, materials and fit and finish :p

How do you like the W2??

Love carbon and tool steels in modern folders, wish there were more production knives like that.

Great looking knife, BT knives always have such a nice classy toughness look.

Good lord. I can't get enough of Burch's blade designs. The collaboration he did with Les George is just the one for me. I conveniently follow the two owners of them on IG in case they ever accept body parts or first borns as payment for them.
