• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Started this little project about a day ago. The knife is a Martinni fillet knife.

That was a really good idea to use a chess piece, kudos. Adds a lot of character, and is cheap/readily available. I believe I'll steal that notion.... :D

hey, that is SO COOL Joe!!!! I love the chess piece ferro rod.

Nice job bro!

I like that idea too, may have to steal that.:D
Makes me wonder what else I can use...

A hot soldering iron shoved into that chess piece eh? Find some cheap import wood chess set and use those pieces. I use old synthetic wine corks myself....

Cool ideal, thanks for sharing it.

I hate to admit it but I think I have two of those Deluxe survival knives around here from my youth.:o

I see the saw rings for your survival knife held up as well as mine.

Great idea with that chess piece. Love CR knives. Noticed the Asian Ladybug and knew you where from Iowa as well. LOL!!

aceofblades - I thought you made that chess piece by yourself, especially for ferrorod.
