It is a good looking knife. I like the looks of Damascus and I do have a Boker magnum folder in Damascus but I do not know a lot about Damascu Steel so I don't know how it would hold up as an EDC. It also does not have a pocket clip, which I would require for an EDC.

what steels and a what RC were used in the damascus, looks pretty comfortable and i wouldnt mind carrying that in a sheath as apart of my edc rotation

There is a wide range of damascus, from the cheap to the highest quality multibanded twist damascus and everything inbetween. I am a big fan of hand forged high end damascus and powder damasteel, both make up most of my collection. That knife reminds me me of Boker Plus damascus knives and would prob be similerly priced.

IMO, for a blade length less than 2 1/2", I don't think you would get $60 in the US market. Looking at the back, looks to me like there are tolerance issues. Looks like gaps or height mismatches between the pieces. Pretty scales though.

"Damascus" today means "pattern welded steel". Performance will depend on the alloys in the pattern and how they were heat treated. I wouldn't expect performance beyond that of AUS8. With pattern welded Damascus, you are paying for cosmetics and not performance.

It looks like a knockoff of Böker's Solingen made lockbacks. I don't think it would sell well here at that price. People have come to expect Chinese knives at very low prices because of Sanrenmu, Ganzo, and the other affiliated companies. Plus, more traditional designs like that aren't as popular, and the people who are into traditionals would rather pick up a higher quality German or American-made knife at that price (Queen, Case, German Eye Brand, Schatt and Morgan, Böker, etc).

+1 on what Tsujigiri said.
In addition, affordable damascus is nearly always NOT stainless. Hence, this would be a display queen. Try to cut a lemon with it and you'll see what I mean.
