This is a good size multipurpose knife with its 3.9 inch long blade and a generous handle that is 5 inches long giving an overall length of 9 inches. The steel is differentially heat treated 1095 3/16 inches thick with an approximate edge hardness of 60Rc and a softer spine in the low 50 Rcs. File work is added to the spine that not only gives a touch of class but acts as a thumb purchase. Handle scales are Macadamia Lace wood from the Big Island of Hawaii with black spacers between the full tang and scale. Loveless bolts are used with epoxy to insure the scales permanently attached and sealed against the intrusion of water. The brown leather sheath is setup with a removal belt loop that can be carried on the right or left side or removed entirely and carried horizontally scout style.

Specs:

Really like the proportions. Some excellent thought went into the dimensions and mirror finish. A classic done right...
