Well folks figured I'd share my latest trip did a weekend on the mountain here in PA.
Weather was a little foul so I wish I had more pictures especially with Busse's in them but theres a few.
Hope you enjoy!
Starting out picture of my testing out my winter load out.
My good friend I've corrupted with INFI.
The following are pictures of the walk in.
Camped out above a small stream.
Heres where I racked out for the night. I loaded it up with pine branches before laying down a tarp
for moisture barrier.
This pictures for my wife. I needed some cushion from the ground and she was more than willing
to donate her pink playtex yoga mat but only if I incorporated it with the rest of the pictures. Hehe
New toy
About 1/4 of the firewood we cut.
Big bowl of hot soup. Carrots, potatoes, vegetable broth, canned chicken and ham.
Work like a horse eat like a horse. Well at least eat like a horse.
Getting ready to turn in the for the night.
The inside looking out.
And last but not least a picture of my snuggle buddy the ASH1.
Thanks for looking!
Hope to do another winter outing in February.
Gotta pick up a new pack though.
