Just finished these up and thought I'd share. The blades are .200" thick Crucible CPM-S60v, and both feature skeletonized and tapered tangs. I'm playing with new geometries, and this pair is the first from me to have a very shallow hollow grind, approximately the same hollow as would be created by grinding on a four foot diameter wheel. Also, the swedge grind is longer and slightly deeper on one, creating a surprisingly different aesthetic to the knife.

The first one features thing black G10 under the wrap, and the other has cream rayskin with a pair of gold plated sterling silver cherry blossom menuki.

Both are just under 9" long, with the first weighing in at 5-1/4 ounces, and the second at 5-7/8 ounces. Point of balance for both is at the turks head knot.

Thanks for looking!

Great work, love them both! What's the blade length? Can't quite tell if the blades are short compared to the handles or if it's just the photo angle.

Check the thread title. ;)

Anyway, it’s a bit of the angle, and the taper toward the back makes the handle appear longer.
