Hi all,

I have been working on a award knife for the OKCA show in April in Eugene Oregon so I have been working like a mad man trying to get this billet done. Once I get a little more ahead I will do a WIP on it. I will be using this billet for the guard and the frame handle.

After posting my last knife "The Trailing Point Hunter" I was contacted by another forum user and have been commissioned to make him one of my Bird and Trout knives in Damascus. He expressed he wanted a tight pattern so hope this will work for his knife as well. I will keep him private if he wishes to chime in that would be cool.

This billet really has given the wife heck trying ti photograph it. This is a very compressed "W" Billet it is 1 1/2" X 2".

Hope you all like it .

reminds me of Poltergeist.
:D

Lorien, now you mention it, it does look supernatural hope I did not catch any bad spirits in that O.O.

I knew you would like it Dave, I am planning on doing my first feather pattern with this one.

I just started my first attempt at a w's pattern today. :):) It won't be anywhere near as tight as what you're building however. I guess that I've caught the "bug". :D:D

Thanks guys :D.

Gary have fun I messed up my first "W" billet ended up drawing it out the wrong way LOL look like seaweed.

Karl generally I been taking about a 1" cut off the billet. I am not sure what I am going to do with this one yet. I may try taking a 1" piece and see if it will stand the stress if not I will have to tile it. I don't think I want to try accordion fold on this maybe the next one ;).
