Hello friends,
Picked up this sweet little gunong on Ebay. It has a very well forged blade with faint lamination. Overall length is 9 3/8". The handle is banati (?) and the guard and ferrule are brass. No scabbard. Probably from the early 1900s. For your veiwing pleasure.:)

You know, the knife is cool, but I really lust for that matt it's photographed on. I've always loved the way it photographs and I've spent a lot of time looking for it's twin.

Yes, I have matt envy:D

It's in the box. :)

I am positively FROTHING with envy, here, Ferg. As they say in the UK, "noice"!

It's odd that Ted immediately came to mind when I looked at the mat. I even through maybe he took the photos, but then realized I was mistaken.
