I see an obvious way around that...but, well, if you don't, good for you. ;) I don't really want to go in anyway...this subforum is creepy enough!
 
It's being banned from the chat, not from the forum. That being said, I'll warn you the chat room is very different from the forum. It's not as regulated as the forum and people tend to cut loose more hence it being 18+
 
Seriously, the chatroom is only for adults. Most of the time the conversation isn't much different than the snark thread. But often we take full advantage of the NC17 status.

I honestly have zero desire to join chat. This is a knife discussion forum, not FaceBook. Carry on.
