A place to put my stump

I think I'll make a table top to cover my stump and keep it dry. I might even throw a couple gallons of polyurethane at it after it has dried out for a few years. That should make it last a long time.
Even I think I went too far

But the fun of that place is that there are a ton of blackberries and scrub oak to swing at.

.

In that case, you're going to have to break down and buy an AK-47. An excellent brush blade.

I agree that red wood is not necessarily a good thing.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but a red stump could be connected to overuse or (worse) an infestation of small bugs.

No one wants bugs on his stump.
This is California, I think it's just a sun burn.

It could be some splinters from a pussy willow.

I take care of my stump. I set things I want to chop on top of it.

Beating on your stump must be the reason why it wore out so quick.

I don't think beating on it was the problem. I think I got it wet too often.

I'd rather beat my stump to pieces than let it just rot away.

Perhaps we should organize a fund raiser to get a new synthetic stump for Tony. We can make it out of Trex. That won't rot no matter how long he neglects it.

I always have a place to put my stump.

So many of you wanted my stump. But I had to say no, it only goes in one place.

Too bad I left it in VA. :grumpy:

Ban didn't rub my stump.

You must be thinking of someone else.

I am going to show Ban how to turn some rod in his new lathe and spin the cranks on his mill. Some people say it's all in the wrist but I machine by ear.

Kids, learn from Tony G, don't drink and type!
