A Pretty Nifty New Tinder Product

Brian, great review and pictures as always. Have you ever used the Pocket Bellows system? Not to get into a full review, but the telescoping bellows is a game changer for starting fire, especially in conditions less than ideal and their Baddest Bee tinder is some of the best I've ever used, even in wet conditions. The packaging also doubles as a great water tight container. American veteran owned and produced in the USA. If you want a test a set and have not already let me know. I've bought multiples of this kit to keep and share.

Rebuildable a few times I imagine. I have been playing with them a good bit. I have taken them apart to put on my maxped gear, and then taken them apart again to burn and was still able to use the caps to make a new pull. This was just some photos from the first time of trying them out. I will be putting a more in-depth review up in the W&SS section soon with better photos, and more of the ironwood :) I agree, it does have outstanding figure.

Thanks! I'll be picking some up in orange as well as some FireCord for rebuilding them.

I have not tried those. They look great. I'd love to test a set and also see if they work with the spark lites I have. Especially if they are better than the tinder quick in wet conditions. That would give me another one-hand-fire-starting option in a small package. Definitely like supporting the veteran owned business here. I do not see these tinderZIPs as a primary tinder anyway, just as an emergency back up option.

Looking around the internet so far, I have as of yet found no source for purchasing quantities of the same type of fire cord that is used on these. I have only found their 550 cord which has the usual 7 inner strands plus the fire starter in what looks like a smaller diameter. I am still actively trying to find some of this smaller diameter stuff for a couple of other projects myself. If you find it let me know please.
