When I showed this one to my wife she said "is that a primitive knife?" (I don't think she really likes this style). It is what I think of as a blacksmith made knife that was traded for a chicken or a peck of potatoes.

Forged from 1/4 inch 5160
Flat grind finished to 400 grit
Forge markings on the flats
White tail antler handle
Overall length: 9 inches
Blade: 5 inches
Riveted leather scabbard

$70 ----SOLD----delivered to the US or Canada. My PayPal account is gldrewknives@yahoo.com Checks with time to clear or USPS money orders also accepted.

This knife sold for $70??? Wow, it could've been priced significantly higher than that. No wonder it sold as soon as it was posted. Great deal, that.

I'll up the ante- three chickens, a sack of Idaho potatoes and some of our massive sweet onions to boot. Oh hell, a pair of grass fed open range Idaho prime ribs too.

A hand forged knife with a White tail antler handle for $70, how the hell do ya do it Gerry !!!

Thanks for all the great comments guys. I have been trying to develop a knife that is quick to make and using left over materials like antler tines and short pieces of steel. I don't spend a lot of time on the handle either, just drill a hole and epoxy it in. Looks like I hit it right with this one. I have a couple of shows coming up soon but there will be more of these in the future.
