Hello everyone. My name is Mike from SJ Forged Knives-mfd. A while back, I took a chance on a couple knives from a Pakistani Knife smith (SJ Forged Knives). I was so impressed with the fit, finish, and overall quality that I bought a few more: 15 knives and a short sword to be exact. Him and I got to talking about knives and smithing. I told him it would be a few years before I could really make knives due to taking care of family. He asked if I designed knives and I told him yes. That is when an offer was made, "if you design them, I can build them. I was so impressed with his work, I couldn't answer anything other then "Yes." So we became a team. Below are my first five designs: Estaca, Akicita, Jaeger, Legatus, and Shaka Zulu. All are in 440c, with bone, Micarta , or wood scales and 416 Stainless bolsters. I also have 5 EDC sized fixed blades and a utility design coming down the pike, in multiple handle types. Sorry about the long windedness, but when you are new, sometimes people get the wrong impression or are skeptical... and in this world of ours, I can understand that.
