A proper introduction - and bitten bad by the knife-making bug

Jeff,

I'm right there with you on the "no sense of completion in IT" bit. That brought me to blacksmithing, which brought me to bladesmithing. Very nice shop, and a heck of a good job on those knives. Keep up the good work!

Jeff
I'm glad to see you have a face,:) though I'd like to see everyone do the same, excluding IG, you can see why from his picture:D

you've got a great start but more so
the KNIFE BUG ! :D
a proper welcome to you :)
and BTW Nice knives you have there also:)

Thanks for the warm welcome, all.

Mark - the only rule I impose on my kids during their mycology forays is: NO EATING. I don't care how certain they are of the species -- I've read too many horror stories. Nasty way to die.

Dan - I appreciate the faces I see that you and others put up (well, maybe not IG's). Feels friendlier. I must say, though, that it is creeping me out seeing my own ugly mug staring back at me. Take a while to get used to, I guess.

Cool!

Wish my shop was that nice and 1/10 as clean! If i dont clean my shop soon, I wont be able to walk!

Hmmm.. For those who understand, AMANITA would be cool name for a tactical knife. It even sounds cool for those who have no idea what I'm talking about. What do you think Jeff? ;)

Definitely a cool name. And in that genus: Destroying Angel and Death Cap. With a little research, a whole line of AMANITA blades could be developed! Caesar, grisette, pantherina, abrupta...

Maybe a folder with heat colored Ti scales could be Psylocibe mexicana?
