A Proposal For Selling Classic Infi

digdeep,

Don't look for sympathy from these guys, they are brutal when it comes to hogging INFI. :grumpy: They would sell their own mothers if they needed the extra cash for that special piece.

Gosh, I miss Mom... But hey, the HOFSH keeps me safe at night. :D

Hey, I like it:p

I guess I would trade it for a HOGFSHLE- straight up.;)

If I buy a Heavy Heart, I won't be able to buy the more awesome FBM.
If I were a gambling man, I'd say the FBM is a ways out. Plenty of time to save up your pocket change.

The HH's, on the other hand, will only come round once, and they're available right now.

I'll admit that I don't agree with people buying a few of a limited model and just sitting on them which causes others to miss out on buying one of that model that they quite possibly could have been buying to use. In essence the one is screwing the other out of the enjoyment of useing the knife just so they can stick them in a safe for a while to make a few dollars.

I will also say that I would not want to live in a country where this was not possible. I am happy that people are able to do this. It's part of freedom.

You know, I've seen these discussions around the Swamp A LOT right after another store offering would sell out in 5 minutes.

And I understand the frustration... after there were supposed to be a "boatload" of Ratchets in the last Extravaganzaa, I was rejected for even one though I presumably got in early enough to snag a BIBB. The initial people must have been buying about a dozen at a time @ $58.95 and you certainly see 2-3 on Ebay every week going for more than I wanted to spend. But that's okay. No where in the Constitution is my right to have the newest Wauseon blade spelled out.

While I lost out on a Ratchet, I did manage to get lucky in the Wauseon stampede for: a Howling Fat, Rat Mastiff, Knob Creek '05 OD-RW, Extravaganzaa Feb'06 BIBB, and a Heavy Heart last night.

I'll just keep repeating the mantra I learned around here...

BLAME PORKERSON!!

no... wait... that's not right....

NO REGRETS!!!

Thanks Skunk! I don't care what all the other hogs have said about you, I think your sense of fairness is above reproach.

Truer words were never spoken.

Hang.

Watch.

Wait.

Be ready to roll.

I learned something about Hunting and Buying Busse Knives from a movie I once saw, one of the two "Adams Family" movies.

It is sort of like the game "Wake the Dead"

To really play the game you have to "Dig". ;)

Some times just calling out is not enough.
