A question about a sword: history and value, have a look.

I'm more of a knife guy but a friend asked me if I could find out the history and value of this sword. So you sword experts, please let me know what you think.

either it was made by solingen for some foreign army or, it was used by the kaiser's uhlans. that elite cavalry faught on horseback as recently as world war 1.

I got from the internet that JE Bleckmann from Solingen, was a civil war era maker. I didn't know it may have one of the kaiser's uhlans cavalry sword, cool! What would you guess as a price for it?
