Dear knife-experts. I am from Sweden so forgive me for my bad english spelling.

I bought this knife (https://www.crkt.com/m16-13zlek-spear-point-with-triple-point-serrations.html) for my "bugoutbag" and i have been very happy about the design and the overall feeling of the knife. But then i saw a video on youtube where coldsteel tested a CRKT knife and compeared it to a Coldsteel knife. I post the link below.

As you can see in the video the CRKT knife breaks after some violence and now i wonder if this knife is not suitable for an emergency situation. I mean like having to stab 100 zombies trough the forehead suitable. If i were to fight with this knife i would hold it in a icepick grip with the egg forward.

Thank you.

The M16 is a classic design by the now deceased Kit Carson. It is a mature design that has a variety of configurations. I have seen some really beat up M16 that still worked fine. It has been a favorite of military personnel for a long time. It should serve you well.

If a company "tests" a product from their competition against one of their own and publishes the results, you can bet that the competitors product will not be shown in a very good light.

After all, cold steel is trying to sell you one of their knives.

My son uses a CRKT M16 14SFG as his beater. It's held up just fine.
