You guys are killing me with all the Carson pics!!! Ok, I have an order in with kit for a large model #4, clip point 420V, premium grade burled desert ironwood handles, and Kit told me that he likes to finish this knife with a satin finish on the blade, bolsters, and handles. This knife is definitely going to be a drooler. Big D1

your knife and the little photopoint movie of Kits work that PhiL made a few months ago, prompted my own order for a #4.
a small with an A2 drop point blade.

Another Kit Carson beauty. This piece has a blade made from stellite steel. The handle scales are desert ironwood.
I really like this one alot. The way the wood is finished is great.
Not to shiny and lots of deep color.

You will be very happy with any Carson knives.
It's well worth the wait.

Ok, a question for everybody. Do all Carson model 4's come with a thumb ramp? The reason I ask is because I see some with ramps and some with no ramps. Big D1

if you dont want to wait two years,catch kit (if you can) at a show.
about two months before blade i had the urge to order one of his M4's,but figured i would just save my money till blade,and get one there. it may not be exactly what you order,but its still a M4,without a wait.
