Sal, are the Salt models made in the same Seki facility that the older Gen 3 endura/delica knives were made in. I have yet to find a more consistant lockback as those older enduras! Thank you and keep them coming.

Given that the Salt models utilize the same handle mold as the Gen3 Enduras and Delicas, I would speculate that they are indeed made at the same facility.

i just bought a salt one recently. its pretty good. i wanted a delica 3, but since i couldnt find any around i just got the salt 1 instead. the h1 steel doesnt seem to look as nice as the v10(mabye thats just in my head?), but its a cool little knife for sure.

Well, I'd say the odds are very high that the handles are made at the same facility that made those for the Delica and Endura. Just not sure if FRN handles are normally made by the facility that turns them into finished knives. Even then, it would probably make sense to have those most familiar with the assembly of the original version, build the Salt version. Will be interested in hearing the actual answer to this one.

the H1 seems to scratch much easier than the VG-10 does and doesnt seem to hold an edge quite as well but it doesnt rust, is a piece of cake to resharpen
and once it gets scratched up, that just encourages you to use the hell out of it

oh and the coolest thing, the salt's have a Titanium clip, which can be anodized or Flame coloured, just to customize it a little
kinda like this
