A Question For The Buck Enthusiasts

DeSotoSky:

Thanks so much for the info. Wasn't familiar with that model. With only so few made, I guess I'll cross that one off my Want List.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

I'll try to stop in a couple of Buck dealers in the area over the next week to see what feels good in the hand. I'm not buying unless I can at least get one of those 113's in my hand.. looks to be close to what I'm looking for.

I'll update if/when I make a choice.

Opinions vary I guess.... I thought the sheath was a "What the hell were they thinking".....
The knife is really pretty tiny for a fixed blade. More of a neck knife.

I never noticed that one before.I need to do my homework and get back in the loop of things.

How long has the thorn been out? The knife and sheath on te Buck site is completely different than yours.

That one (rosewood scales) was a limited edition that came out a couple years ago and is now discontinued. The green scale is current production. There is also a blue scale, limited edition that has a Damascus blade and the blue scales are carbon fiber.
