A question for you hunters

Well, I suppose you could always get him something else and send the knife to me instead.:D
 
I was just about to suggest a 103 skinner,maybe in a custom steel and handle like stag.I tried gut hooks a couple times and found out I didn't care so much for them,ok opening up the chest cavity,but trying to manuver inside the carcass,i hoked something that i shouldn't have,made a mess,and won't use gut hooks again,that was the only time i ever broke the paunch,using the gut hook.I SAY the 103 is a great idea,even if he has one,I have 3 i use all the time,if i'm doing 2-3 deer at once,i bring all 3 so as to limit my time with a less than razor sharp knife,then i'll sharpen them all after cleaning them.lucky young fella for sure
