Now I am looking for a Recondo. Is it very new? I can't find it at any of my local shops (one says it is not in their current catalog, so they have to wait for their new catalog). I haven't tried a dealer refered from the SOG website yet, they are all a bit far away. Are any of the different colored coated blades available?

Both the Tech I and Tech II are now discontinued. These knives were identical in every respect, except for blade length (and, of course, name). I understand that the Tech is on our website, we are in the process of taking it down.

The Recondo is a new and current model knife. SOG's "full" catalog is a couple years old and does not cover our newest products, but we do mail supplementary information that covers this knife, as well as all our other new knives (even ones no yet in production).

For catalog requests drop us an email with full mailing address. Our website will be the most completely and up-to-date source possible.
