A quick heads up for Canadians !

Pitdog,
I would edit your first post with big red letters so nobody gets the wrong first impression... It means SO much to a business....... the cherry on the humble pie, so to speak.... lol.

Yep, UPS sucks for Europe too. You pay a $30-$40 fee even for packages with no commercial value. Bloody thieves.

+1 from Alaska

To hell with UPS, nothing but a bunch of thieves. That's why they ware brown uniforms, cause that's where you get it, --right in the BROWN.

Yip, learned about the UPS/USPS difference a few years ago while playing with fleabay. Sucky surprise, I've felt the sting before also.

UPS deliveriry people stink. My buddy had them deliver packages to his business and he told me they stunk. They had a very bad accident a number of years ago when a worker was crushed on the loading dock by one of their trucks. They push their people very hard and want things done quickly. All day long they run around like nit wits. I never buy anything from knife dealers if they use them. I like US mail. They take their time and do a good job. I don't like sweaty, stinky people coming onto my property. What a greedy company.

I worked at UPS back in 1990 and I will never ship anything via UPS because of people like ME (well, back then, anyway) To the person who didn't recieve their Black Widow Recurve for Christmas, 1990..... it works like a charm:thumbup: .... sorry.

UPS seems to be all over the map. I ordered a wool shirt off an online site based in Salt Lake city and after a mixup it was sent via standard ground UPS. I dreaded the day it would arrive. I got it only a week after I ordered it and I was surprised to see how well the tracking feature on their website worked. In the end this good service cost me a flat rate of $20.00 (the exact cost quoted on the website). But I must say I probably won't risk another shipment by them.

Wow another UPS sucks thread.
Maybe someday they will finally wake up and stop gouging Canadians!
I got dinged by UPS for 50$ a few years back.
!@#$!! brokerage fee!
Since then i only do business with those who ship USPS.
Like i said in the other thread we need to sticky a warning about UPS somewhere.
We need alternate words for the the letters U P S.
I say Unholy Pieces of Sh*t
Someone else here put forward the slightly more polite
Unfairly Priced Service
Any other versions?
