My son stopped through to say goodbye on his last day of leave. He's returning to HI and enjoying life until his next deployment in 3 - 6 months. We only had times to snap two quick shots, since there were lots of family and friends milling around wanting attention. My thanks to Rick for the great knife and Rob for all of his support and help in obtaining it.

I thought you guys might enjoy some of the pics in my scrap-book.

We couldn't get the sign & knife to show up and fit a full body and head shot. Here he is on his 2nd tour in Iraq with a pal. Branden's on the right.

Here he is on his 3rd tour, made Sgt. - led a lot of roving patrols and set up roadblocks.

This is the vehicle they would cruise around in at night - I need one!! :D

He sent me this pic of his trusty rifle too. I really need one of these! :D

Don't know how he got this pic but I asked him to send me a shot of what it looks like through those rifle sights.

Wow!! Absolutly awesome!! Please tell your son "Thank you" for his service. Its the service men and women like him who make it possible for me to live free to be able to live my dream of being a knifemaker! Its providing the essential tools to our troops and first responder's/LE that keeps me in the shop late at night. Working long hours in the comfort of my shop is the least I can do!
I would be honored to add a picture of your son to my Wall of honor that I have in my office honoring all of my military and LE/Fire customers!

Thanks so much for sharing and please tell your son "Your welcome" for me and if theres anything he needs to just hollor!

Thanks Bushmaster-M4gery he's done really well. It's hard to believe, I remember playing with him in diapers and now he's all grown up - well "almost." :)

Thank you Rick, those are kind words. Our servicemen and women put themselves in harm's way all the time for us. I'm glad to hear that you care so much. His Mom really worries about him and has spent many nights over the past few years with tears in her eyes and needing comfort. Nothing's better than seeing him come home twice a year. :)

Unfortunately, Mom has all of the "at home and Christmas pictures." I have all the combat pics of him - lots of them, but I do have one in my online album of him at his house in HI, taken about 3 or 4 weeks ago so you can see him without all of that gear on.

There's another one I thought was funny too. It's the local Iraqi kids coming to beg candy off of our G.I.'s - they have their salute down cold except for one little guy. :D

Chuck, It was my pleasure, I am glad Branden is happy with the knife.....and you are one cool Dad! As I've said a few times before, wish him well and thank him again for me.

Thanks for your best wishes guys I'll pass them onto Branden/Brandon. I'll send him a link to the thread.

This will sound weird but we decided to name him Brandon. I wasn't in the delivery room with Mom and her Sis (his Aunt - my wife's sister is an Air Force Colonel, an OB/GYN Dr.) who delivered him.

My wife who is much more given over to such things (fad spellings and such) told the nursing staff to name him Branden and I was livid because I wanted it to be spelled Brandon.

So his legal name is Branden and I spell it Brandon most of the time, but I see that without thinking yesterday that I spelled it the right (wrong) way. :grumpy:

He still answers to both spellings though! :D

Thank you very much for recognizing him. - Chuck

Thanks Chuck, for sharing your pics. Hope Branden/Brandon ;) makes it safely home to his family. Looks like he's got some nice toys to play with, especially his new knife.

Very nice gesture, Rick and Rob, that you've made in supporting our troops. Thank you.
