On a side note, I like how the grind line goes into the choil on the first blade you showed.

I don't have a rotary platen, but I would sure like to. It's just too expensive right now.
I don't think they would do exactly the same thing, though. The rotary platen would do more of a convex grind, which is not what what I'm looking for there.

I think I used regular contact cement. I probably sandblasted the steel first, to help it grip.
I actually expect this to last many years, because I don't use it for hogging, just finish grinding, like 240 grit and finer, and I use a slow speed.

Hey question: Why couldnt a person round a rubber wheel and do that same grind but a hollow grind on the recurve? I would think it would be a much smoother grind and easy to clean up too.
