here is one of my latest projects. i cleaned the head a few months ago and finally found a really nice haft for it a couple weeks ago.
it is one of my favorites. i picked it up at a pawn shop for 15 bucks. all nasty and rusty...

OA length: 35 1/2"
head weight: 3lb 6oz
OA weight: 4lb 13 oz
btw: the pics are a little dim (daylight was waining). the darker spots in the close ups with the head and haft are NOT gaps, they are dark spots within the steel.
it is a VERY tight fit. one that im proud of, it i do say so myself... it needs a good edge put on it and a sheath then she'll be all set to go...
