A sad tale of thievery

Its not a pack solely for archery. Its a actually a small hunting back pack I use as my archery range bag. So its the front pocket most back packs have. I think thats just the only pocket he could get into quickly without getting busted
Me thinks you may have seen the culprit. Like perhaps they noticed you leaving towards the bathrooms without the bag, figured they had at least a minute or two before you came back. Remember any that were in the area that would have seen you walking away?

When i walked over to the tables behind the lanes it looked like everyone was shooting. But theres a backside to the woods only for paying members with different target setups. Im guessing it was somebody lurking from back there

The reason I said that was that it takes some balls to just walk up to an unattended anything and set to looting if you don't know where the owner is - who might appear out of nowhere and beat the living daylights out of you. Or worse.

Oh you are not wrong. The audacity is off the charts. Few things set me off to go from 0 to 100. A thief is one of them.

And witnesses were distracted.

Or simply looked the other way.

Don't go back there again. Please.

Its a lousy feeling.... Had a Sebenza 25 micarta and a ZT 561 disappear from my clothes in the hospital.....
Definitely would have needed the Hospital had I caught the bastid.........
Another tine a kid went in my car and took my Swiss champ!!!!!!! I found out who did it but the pecker head OD'd on A fentanyl lollipop a.few.weeks after......🤔......Things that make you go......Hhhmmmm!!

Definitely not cool. Almost certainly someone who knew what was in there, and does this frequently, because they knew that tearing the pocket would make less noise than the zipper.

ETA: you may want to file a police report. Be prepared to answer with certainty that you did not accidentally snag and tear the bag and the knife fell out. Your stolen knife is in the wrong hands now, but it may still have your fingerprints on it.

Off topic, have to say that that's wild that there are woods at your range. How do the Range Officers control everything if they aren't able to see all shooters immediately?
