A SAK as an EDC blade? Your thoughts?

The other day, I had to take apart the Hoover vacuum cleaner when a sock got jammed up in it. Took it apart and back together again with the combo tool doing a good job on the screws. I was too lazy to go downstairs for my tool kit, so I just used the sak in my pocket.

Can't do that with a cutter that's just a knife.:D

For many years that's all I had on me - starting as a kid.

It was around 1995/1996 when I opened my eyes to the folder world and started edc'ing folders.

I always have a Vic SAK on me - always. Right now my edc Vic is a Climber.

Depending on what your knife needs are - I think a SAK is a perfectly fine edc. It is definately more sheeple friendly than some of the folders I carry.

Used to be a SAK guy, always carried the Swiss Champ or Deluxe Tinker with me everyday. Last couple of years I switched over to Leathermans, but still to this day carry a Vic Classic on my keychain every day.

I was even thinking of modding one of my broken Swiss Champs (the saw blade snapped) to include a Vic classic as one of it's tools - A SAK with an SAK!!!
