Ha! A very good point -- I didn't realize your mention of mountain lions was meant that way. ;-)

I once heard an interview with a guy who came upon a mountain lion in the wild. He was thrilled to be so lucky as to get such a great view of a creature that is so hard to find. Then he realized that the thing was aware of him, was looking at him and appeared to be deciding whether or not to kill and eat him.

The last known bear in the wilds? in the DFW area was killed on the LBJ grass lands in the 80's. A small black bear that some believed was an escaped pet. The photo looks like coon.
