Very interesting, particularly liked the use of the Bow-Drill. Some of the equipment and the buildings shown are really dilapidated, probably there at the time of Dickens Might explain the sorry drop in quality witnessed at Sheffield over the years. Nevertheless, this looked a very nice knife and the men real artisans.

I don't think it's the 1950s though, most of those type of promo documentaries would still have been in black&white. Also, the shot of the yard showed a late 1950s-early 60s British Ford and a yellow car that looked like a 1970s Triumph Toledo. I may be mistaken.

Hi!

Great vid about making a Sheffield!

The used tools at that manufacture are the hit. Really old stuff! I like to see such old tools in use.
